DAY 1: ARRIVAL DAY : CASABLANCA - RABAT
Our Morocco Grand excursion starts today and our All Over Morocco Tours driver will pick up you from your hotel and we can start private 14 days Casablanca Imperial cities tour. Once you are at Casablanca airport - the largest and the economical capital city of Morocco - our guide/driver will meet you there, and take a fascinating tour along the Atlantic Ocean to Hassan II Mosque - the second biggest mosque after Mekka- and drive you to Rabat - the administrative city of Morocco - it is also the official city where the king settles. Rabat is remarkable for its panoramic views, and palm lined streets … After lunch you will explore the city mainly Hassan tower, Loudaya Kasbah, and Chella Necropolis . You will overnight in your luxury Riad at Riad Kalaa or similar in the heart of the old medina.
DAY 2 : TRANSFER TO CHEFCHAOUAN VIA ASILAH
For your second vacation day, and after your breakfast in your Riad , we suggest to drive you to the Atlantic city Asilah - situated in the northern part of the kingdom- it is the perfect place to wonder and take a refreshing breath . Asilah is known as the city of Arts ,when you go on a sightseeing you will have an immediate sensation of the Portuguese traces like in the port , the fortress ,the houses…it is an artistic pearl on the Atlantic. At noon you will have a fresh fish for lunch. Later on , you will have a panoramic tour over the city; meanwhile your guide will be debriefing you on its history . We suggest visiting Sakala fortress to close up your day. We don’t want you to miss the wonderful blended views of Medina and the ocean. If time fits in our agenda ,we would love you to visit Tangier, the historical city which includes many civilizations that have been for a long time in that area ,starting from the5th century BC. Tangier sits at the western entrance of Gibraltar where the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic ocean meet. It is only 7 miles away from Europe(Spain).That’s why it is not surprising to notice the influence of the European style assimilated with the profound roots of our Moroccan culture. Late in the afternoon, your journey will take you through the gorgeous mountains into ChefchaounYou will have dinner and overnight in your Riad Lina or similar.
DAY 3: A DAY TO EXPLORE CHEFCHAOUN
After breakfast in your riad, you will discover the majestic history of the Blue city. The richness of this place lies in the creativity of it’s artisans .You will stand breathless in front of the beauty of its handicraft and pure exotic natural, as well as the beauty of top roof restaurants .Unlike many parts of Morocco, Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain; therefore its not surprising to see the influence of the Spanish civilisation ,and the Moorish architecture .Don’t miss the local weavers’ cooperative .it is amazing. . On the afternoon, you will have your own time to walk around ,and enjoy your time . Overnight in Riad casa Hassan or similar BB
DAY 4: CHEFCHAOUN-FES
Today your guide will drive you to Fes-the spiritual and the most ancient imperial capitals in the Arab world. On your way, you will come across a sticking place Volubilis-the Roman’s most remote standing base speaking out loudly for the power of Roman’s civilization. Next, you will stop at another imperial old city; Meknes- founded in the 11 th century by the Almoravids and became a capital under the reign of sultan Moulay Ismail. Meknes is surrounded with high and massive walls and gates-you will continue your tour to the grand gate named Bab Lmansour. Along the trip ,you will find other treasures that requires a digital camera to record unforgettable memories. You will have dinner and overnight in Yakout Riad or similar in Fes.
DAY 5: A COMPLETE DAY TOUR IN FES
After breakfast, you will start an explorative visit to the old Medina with your guide. You will get fascinated activities held by artisans using old techniques to create traditional -modern Moroccan handicrafts , wood work , ceramics , jewelry ,and leather After lunch you will go for further sightseeing to the Jew old neighborhood named “Mellah” - built in the 15 century-you will larn about the harmonious atmospher of musles and Jews lived together as one society -it is also highly recommanded to visit the royal place as it is of a great historical value , it was built in the 17 th century , the palace contains beautiful gardens . late in the afternoon, you guide zill drive you to you Riad where you will overnight .
DAY 6 : TRANSFER TO MIDELT
Your next journey will start up early morning hitting the road to Midelt .On route; you will stop at “Aowa” lake. You will be taken by the wild life of numerous birds. Your drive continues to Ifran - the “little Switzerland”- through the mountains pastures and splendid Cidar all the way to Azrou - a berber town 89 km away from Fes at an altitude of 1200m- you will see” Gouro” tree -the oldest and most famous tree 800 years- we will have time for lunch there , and move forward 15 km to stop at” Cidar” forest which embraces a lot of lovely monkies. Your journey will continue to Midelt which is situated between the middle and high Atlas Mountains ranges. The city’s main activity is agriculture. Midelt is very famous for varieties of high quality of apples. It worth to note that the economy of the city also depends heavily on minerals .The area held its first mineral exhibition where a large number of mineral sellers came to share their fascinating products .you will have dinner and spend your night in a 4 stars hotel :“Taddart” .
DAY 7 : MIDELT - MERZOUGA
After breakfast in Taddart, we will drive further in the Middle Atlas passing over the high point -Tizi n Tlghmt- (2000) m. As you get closer to Errachidia -140 km away from Midelt-you will start to notice the desert atmosphere welcoming you to embark on another experience: the weather, plants, animals…are just a sign that we approach the southern part of the kingdom. Errachidia or” ksar Souk “as it used to be called was the meeting point of caravans coming from the south or even other countries like Mali. it was simply the meeting spot for business ,and product exchange ( Henna, salt, clothes..).After lunch you will continue your journey. On the way , you will stop at the amazing view of palms in Ziz valley in the middle of the desert . The hospitality of Berber inhabitants will make you feel like you are home. You will have a short break in “Aofous” - small town that's main economical activity is based on date market.” Erfoud “ will be your next stop to discover an interesting fossil market ,see various hand made sculptured shapes made of fossil rock (350 million years old named “Orthoceras” . You will also visit the Dinasorious museum . After the tour ,you will head up to enjoy Risani town, a circular drive here will take you to spices souk (market) . As you continue discovering the place, you will see the stunning donkey parking lot view .you will head up further to the south and over the panoramic views of Kasbahs, palms, and olive trees you will find yourself in one of the most visited cities in the south of Morocco ,Merzouga. It is one of the most romantic and mystical places of the southern part .There, late in the afternoon ,you will climb the sand dunes for a fantastic memorable photo opportunity of sunset. Then, you leave to your Riad where you will enjoy a traditional, Berber Sahara music. Dinner will be served there.
DAY 8 : CAMEL TREK IN MERZOUGA
The following morning , after breakfast in your Riad. You will visit” khamlia” :the nomadic” Gnawa tribe, -originally slaves brought from Sudan-We want you to live their hospitality ,and entertain yourselves for a short time with their traditional African music as a sign of welcome ,Not far away from there, there is the famous” Merzouga lake”. Afterwards, and with your camel guide you will be taken to start your camel journey for 90 min , You will go over high sand dunes to see the most exciting view of the sunset. In the evening ,under the light stars , you will have a traditional dinner in the camp .you will have the choice to overnight in a luxury camp well equipped tent with bathroom , or trek back to your Riad. Early in the morning you will love watching the changing colors of the desert at sunrise time.
DAY 9 : A DAY TO EXPLORE TODGHA CANYONS .
On your way back to your riad ,you will get fascinated with the changing colors of sand of Erg chebbi.You take off to canyons Todgha- the highest, canyons in Morocco- via Risani then to Alnife - fossile area-. the four hours hiking places around the gorges have one of the most romantic feelings,there you will find out about the characteristics of the region.it is from there where you can get the classical view of the mud houses around the riverbank. late in the afternoon ,you will be free to relax on your fascinating family Riad over the river “dar Ayour " and overnight .
DAY 10 : TODGHA GORGES -DADES
After having breakfast in Dar Ayour you will walk around the river to get the highlights of the traditional lifestyle of kasbahs and houses. Then you will conitue your journey to Daddes Vally , the most iconic place is the enormous rock formation known as ''Monkey Toes'', in the heart of the vally you will enjoy your lunch , then you will amuse yourself with the beautiful nature of the place, you will continue exploring the site ,and enjoying the combined view of river , canyons ,and rocks, you will have time for hicking and get a fresh mountain air .late in the afternoon you will over night in a very lexurious Hotel "xaloc" or "les cinq lunes".
DAY 11 ; A TRAVELLING DAY FROM DADDES TO OUARZAZATE
After your breakfast You will start your journey to the oases of kalaa Megouna or as it is known “the valley of roses” - the place is firtile of wild roses bloomimg , in May the site has the honour to celebrate the festival of roses - you will leave this side of view behind , and dig deeper to the south ,on you way , you will enjoy the palm groves villages , and the hundred kasbahs that lining the way . once you have soaked up this panoramic landscapes, we will drive to Skoura to have lunch - a fertile town containing immense palm groves -the scenary of Atlas mountains alongside with Sahara desert is stunning ,you will have the opportunity to stop off at the roses Association - produces natural cosmitic rose products like body lotion, rose water, creams , sunscreen ...- you will go further to the south to stop up at Amridil kasbah - an outstanding Kasbah of the old days- you will have some time for hicking there ,and then continue to Ouarzazate '' Hollywood of Morocco '' , the place is a popular destination for visitors .There is no doubt that this city has the most characteristics of film production features , this makes it appeal to international companies for movie creation . You will enjoy your trip while you will see the highligts of this city , amongst which ; markets , museums, cinema studio and the old Taourirte kasbah , the Chamaa Riad or similar will hoste you for a comfortable overnighting time .
DAY 12 : FROM OUARZAZATE TO MARRAKECH THROUGH TIZI N TICHKA PASS
Today you will have the ultimate experience of the south visiting the great Ait Ben Haddou kasbah - one of Morocco's evocative sites, as itis of mud constracting buildings , the place is increadibly phtogenic ,it was acknowledged as a UNSCO world heritage -, the dramatic scenaries here attracted a lot of tourists , as well as film makers. Gladiator , Lawrence of Arabia , and Jesus of Nazareth were some shoted movies in this area . You will continue you epic journey drive to Marrakech via Tizi n Tichka - a very impressive switchbacks mountain path that reaches up to 2260 m , this way links Marrakech with Ouarzazate , all you have to do is enjoy it , and take your breath for the three hours drive , on route you will stop arround for lunch either in Taddart or Ait ourire village. once you are at Marrakech we invite you to see the tropical gardens , and the vibrant blue studio of the painter Jacque Majorelle, you will be fascinated with his famous art work , and the collection of plants, and palms from thr four corners of the earth , from there you will be driven to Prencesse de Desert Riad , or similar in the old medina where you will overnight.
DAY 13 : SPEND THE WHOLE DAY IN MARRAKECH
This morning you will meet with your personal guide for a wonderful tour arround Marrakech, you will spend the whole day comimg face to face with Merrakchians , live with them their stories through their historical moniments , traditions , and handicrafts . you will explore the highlights of this city; Kotoubia mosque is truly perfect display of the Almohad archtectural style, built in 1162, this mosque overlooking the Medina at 253 ft high , up to now it is an active place of worship. from there you will continue to Djamaa lfna - the beautiful expample of the place combining between the past and the present , you will have a good time with vendors , traditional musicians, snake charmers, and random acrobats, besides ''Lhalqa'' - traditional circle meeting of people listening to stories via story telling person, not far away you will enter the amazing world of handicrafts shopes. your sightseeing is not yet up you will visit then the Menara- one of the most symblic places. This elegant building is sourrounded by an immense ornamental lake-. late in the afternoon you will have time for dinner and a self exploritive tour. you will overnight in Riad Prencesse de desert or similar.
DAY 14 : EXPLORING ESSAOUIRA
No trip to Morocco is complete without a visit to Essaouira. with its spectacular beauty, magnificient old architect, and the ideal climate for water sports enthusiasts, and kite surfing, the city keeps calling visitors all over the globe . Essaouira is also the land of cultures ; the sakala offers vibrant multiviews over the fishing port, and the Mogador island , looking at the blue walled medina from there reveals its glorious past, it compasses all kinds of handicraft stores , terraces, cafes ,artistic paintings, and Thuya wood which is a true art form, you will also visit the fish market for a truly local experience, and from the clorful displays of freshly caught fish , and shellfish , you can choose what you want for your lunch, drop it in a restaurant near by to have it as a yummy barbecue . The annual Gnawa music festival is worth being mentioned here, the gala brings together artists from all over the world, and it includes Rock , Jazz , and Reggae music . Late in the afternoon, you will get back to your Riad in Marrakech.
